We are a small, family-run Christmas Tree Farm working hard to continue the Choose-&-Cut Christmas Tree Farm tradition. We strive to provide you with an authentic, traditional Christmas Tree cutting experience, and hope to help you make wonderful family Christmas memories and traditons for generations.
We care deeply about the environment and focus on sustainable growing practices.We do not use synthetic herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides in order to provide you the most natural tree possible.
We grow Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir, Canaan Fir, Concolor Fir, Colorado Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, White Pine and White Cedar trees. We hand shear our trees a bit more loosely than others to give them a more natural, no-two-are-alike appearance.
We also offer ‘Bucket Tree’ rentals for those who want to celebrate with a real tree, but prefer not to cut down a tree or don't have the space for a large tree.
Farm Experience & Safety
Bring your Holiday Cheer and we’ll provide a hand saw to cut your tree, a sled or tractor ride out to the fields and back, hot cocoa to warm you up, and all around cheerful service from our crew. We will shake, bale, and drill your tree free of charge and provide twine to help you tie the tree to your vehicle. Guests are welcome to take personal photographs on the farm, however in order to provide all of our guests the best experience, professional/commercial/staged photography is not permitted during hours of operations. Professional photographers can schedule sessions on the farm on weekends prior to the start of the season.
Prettyboy Run is located in the great outdoors and is a real working farm, as such there are many natural and man-made hazards. By visiting the farm, you agree to assume all risk and liability for all activities for everyone in your party, if you don’t agree with this policy, please do not visit our farm.
We provide hand saws for you to use, or we can cut a tree for you, but due to insurance concerns, gas and/or electric powered saws are not permitted.
Those unable to abide by our simple rules or found lacking in sufficient levels of merriment will be banished from the farm until such time as they learn to be kind and play well with others.
